Notices

Please Pray For

The repose of the soul of Deacon Bernard Croft.  Deacon Bernard was at Holy Souls Scunthorpe, assisting various parish priests, including Fr John Cahill, Fr Eddy Jarosz and Fr Neil Peoples.  May he rest in peace.

Fr John Away

Please note that Fr John will be away from the parish this week. The retired priests will cover the daily Masses during that time. All other enquiries should be referred to the parish office, preferably by Email.

What to do if you need a priest in an emergency – please phone Mother of God 0116 287 5232 or Blessed Sacrament 0116 285 8795.

Holy Hour for Vocations

Saturday 2 March from 5.30pm.  While Fr John is hearing Confessions, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed and people are encouraged to join in this quiet time of prayer for vocations.

Friday Coffee Club

After the Friday morning Mass each week, there is a very friendly Coffee Club upstairs in the parish hall. They also have occasional outings, meals and social events. Everyone is welcome, so do come along!

Hymn Books

As you will remember, last year we replaced our hymn books with a new set.  Please try to put them back carefully onto the hymn book stand as you leave the church, so that they will keep in ‘as good as new’ condition for as long as possible.  Thank you.
