1978 – 2018

We marked the beginning of our 40th Year with the Parish BBQ back in June.  We now have two further events to mark the anniversary of the actual Consecration of the Church, which was celebrated by Bishop McGuinness on 5 October 1978.

Friday 5 October

10.00am Mass followed by a celebration in the parish hall.  Monsignor Thomas McGovern was the first priest to celebrate Mass in our church and we are delighted to welcome him back as the main Celebrant for this Mass. We are also very pleased that Canon Eddy Jarosz, Fr John Lally and Fr Patrick O’Doherty will also be returning to the parish for this occasion.

Sunday 7 October

5.00pm Sung Evening Prayer followed by a ‘Cheese & Wine & More’ celebration in the parish hall.

Over the coming weeks, we will be posting updates and putting out sign up lists... watch this space & save the dates!
