The First Holy Communion coincides with the weekend in which we celebrate the solemnity of Corpus Christi (the feast of the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ).  This feast celebrates our Catholic belief in the true presence of Jesus in the holy Sacrament of the Altar.  In this way, Jesus communicates himself to us in his glorified body, blood and soul, together with his divinity.

The First Holy Communion children are invited to lead the short procession after the 8.45am Mass on Sunday 3 June, which will conclude with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in the garden (weather permitting).

Please Pray For
