5th Sunday of the Year
Welcome to St. Peter's
Welcome to the website of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Leicester.  St. Peter's is a vibrant parish on the western side of Leicester City, just outside the city centre. The parish is made up of people originating from many different countries around the world, which reflects the multicultural nature of Leicester City itself, and reminds us of the universality of Christ’s Church.

If you are new to our parish, or have been away for a while, we warmly invite you to be part of our family of faith and help build up the Body of Christ in West Leicester.

Please have a look around the site to find out more about our parish community. We are always looking to add more pages to provide information and reflections on parish events and activities and hopefully some inspiration for our spiritual lives as well.

If you have any comments or questions, or you would like to get more involved within the parish, please feel free to get in touch with Fr John using the contact details under the Contact Us tab.  Please also see our Parish Directory for contacts of specific activities.

PARISH BAZAAR
Saturday 25 February 10.30am – 2.00pm

Can you help?  Many thanks to everyone who has signed up to help.  Volunteers are still needed for some of the stalls – take a look at the list in the porch and if you can spare a little time on the day please add your name.

Time to donate items!  Please go through your cupboards and bring along items we can sell.  We particularly need the following:
DVDs, games, toys, puzzles, cosmetics, bottles, non-perishable groceries and items for the “White Elephant” stall.  (Please note:  we will not be having a book stall this year).  Please only bring items that are in a “good as new” condition.

We also need donations of chocolate and chocolate related items for the “Chocolate Tombola”.

Please leave items in the Altar Server’s Sacristy.

Cake Stall:  Always a big success, so for those who like Baking please remember to make some items for this stall and bring along the day before or on the morning of the Bazaar.

Have you picked up your Raffle Tickets?  Tickets for the Prize Draw are available in the porch for you to take and sell to your family and friends!  Counterfoils and money should be returned and placed in the Red Box in the porch.

Raffle Prizes:  Can you donate a prize?  If so, please add your name to the list in the porch and when bringing in prizes, please ensure they are clearly marked “For the Raffle” so that they are not put onto a stall.

Setting Up:  Stall holders can set up on Friday 24 February from 7.00pm.

If you have any questions or need more information please contact either Clive Scranney on 285 7368 or Claire in the parish office.
